Overview

4th Street Crossing is an under construction, mixed-use development located right off of I-70 in Silverthorne, Colorado. The project aims to transform an entire block (centered around 4th Street) into a hub for dining, retail, and hospitality. Incorporating the historic Mint Steakhouse and Old Dillon Inn buildings — the latter of was relocated from what is now the bottom of the Dillon Reservoir — blends a unique mix of history into the plans for the space, as it aims to become the new, central hub for Silverthorne and the array of mountain travelers passing by.

At its core, Copper Yards is built on the ideas of community and creating a place where all different people can come together.

The logo was inspired by a satellite view of development site. The Silverthorne city grid sits on an angle, which gives the mark an innate sense of place. The letter ‘F’ and number ‘4’ can also both be seen within the mark as nods to the 4th (Fourth) Street name.

An accompanying pattern used a filled variation of the mark incorporated into an American Indian style motif as a nod to the original peoples of Colorado and a way to bring the mountain and modern concepts together.
